Each year, our competitive teams, soloists, and coaches bring home multiple overall awards, platinum and gold adjudication awards, and judge’s awards from competitions throughout the Midwest. Our competitive dancers, tumblers, and teachers put in a lot of work throughout the year to make this happen. We are so proud of them!
Dance Classes for All Ages
Competitive Dance Teams
Our competitive dance teams are divided into 4 groups: Mini, Novice, Junior, and Senior. We compete hip hop, ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, contemporary, lyrical dance routines.
Dance Classes for Kids
We have dance classes for kids of all ages and skill levels. We teach all the most popular styles of dance, including ballet, hip hop, tap, jazz, contemporary, and lyrical.
Dance Classes for Adults
We offer advanced adult dance classes, as well as beginner dance classes for adults, including hip hop, ballet, pointe, jazz, and tap. All are welcome!
Tumbling Classes for Kids
Competitive Tumbling Teams
Our intermediate and advanced tumbling classes compete their routines during the competition season.
Beginner Tumbling Classes
In the evening, we offer tumbling classes for beginners of all age groups, as well as an all level tumbling classes for extra practice.

3 Generations of Dancers
Creations Dance Studio opened in August 2010 Sheryl and Shannon Huggins, mother and daughter. Sheryl began her dance career at the age of 12 and Shannon began dancing at age 3 and competing at age 9. Both began teaching dance at 15 years old.
Shannon’s daughter, Kali, has taken dance and tumbling classes at Creations since she was 3 years old. Now, Kali is an assistant coach for our mini hip hop team. She is also on all of our junior level competitive dance teams, as well as two both tumbling teams for her level.

Creations is more than just a dance studio. We are a family!
Many of our students stay with us from preschool to highschool graduation, and longer, creating unbreakable bonds and lifelong friendships.
- Student Helpers – All of our advanced students are given the opportunity to help choreograph, teach, and spot our recreational classes.
- Studio Events – We hold free events at the studio throughout the year, such as pumpkin carving, drive-in movie nights, tye-dye parties, and costume swaps.
- Fundraisers – We organize 1-3 fundraisers each year to help our competitive students cover competition fees.
- Team Leaders – Each of our competitive teams is assigned a team leader to help teammates improve, coordinate team meetings and events, and more.

Our one-of-a-kind tuition model was created to make dance classes affordable for the whole family. We are the most affordable dance studio in the Peoria area, by far. With our unlimited plan, a family of 4 can take unlimited weekly classes for only $115/month. Weekly classes for one students start at just $25/mo, with even more savings for additional classes and students.
